Driver Fails to Yield, 2 Hospitalized, LIVINGSTON, October 9, 2015 - At around 1 pm on October 9, 2015, a green 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Katherine Alexandra Moyers, 27, of Kilgore, was south-bound on Pan American Drive.  Moyers suddenly slammed into the back half of a tan 2000 GMC Sierra driven by Cynthia Paredes Aguilera, 19, of Livingston.  Paredes attempted to cross over the south-bound lanes of Pan American from the parking lot of South Point Plaza to the north-bound lanes of Pan American.  The collision spun Paredes' vehicle around as it came to rest partially in the center median.  Moyers' vehicle came to rest in the left lane of Pan American.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit and Officers Donald Dyson, Brandon Brewer, and Sergeant Lewis Milner with Livingston Police Department.  Both Moyers and Paredes were carefully removed from their vehicles and transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Paredes is facing a citation for failure to yield.  Both vehicles were recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service and will be stored in Goodrich.

19 year old Cynthia Paredes allegedly failed to yield causing the collision. Paredes was hospitalized.
