Rollover Accident Hospitalizes Livingston Man, SEVEN OAKS, October 6, 2018 - At approximately 5:35 am on October 6, 2018, a red 2002 GMC pickup, driven by Luis Don Juan Saldana, 24, of Livingston, was south-bound on US-59.  Saldana allegedly fell asleep at the wheel.  His pickup left the pavement to the left and rolled into the center median and came to rest upright on the north-bound side of 59 (just north of Seven Oaks). Saldana was ejected during the rollover and landed in the grass.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal William Land with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Saldana was able to get up and walk under his own power.  He was helped into an ambulance and transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  One lane of traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was blocked during investigation and cleanup.  No citations have been issued at this time.  Saldana's vehicle was recovered by Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan.

Saldana was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
