Jeffrey Handley's truck slammed into a dirt pile on the right side of FM-350 South.
Driver Wrecks on 350 South, Alcohol Suspected, LIVINGSTON, October 6, 2010 - Shortly after 8 pm on October 6, 2010, a green Chevy 1500 pickup driven by Jeffrey Handley, 50, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-350 South when his vehicle left the road to the right and slammed into a hardened pile of dirt.  The collision totaled his vehicle.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officer Dallas Early with the Livingston Police Department and DPS Troopers Darwon Evans and Corporal Sam Lattner.  Jeffrey Handley was physically okay but admitted to Troopers to have drunk up to 8 beers.  Trooper Evans administered a field sobriety test and placed Handley under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  One lane of traffic was blocked as the accident was being investigated and cleared.  Handley did have insurance.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Handley's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.  The scene was cleared by 8:45 pm.
