41 year old Jeremy Cretsinger, of Doucette, was hospitalized after slamming into a parked car on US-190 East (Trooper Kevin Burman, center, cited Cretsinger in the accident).
Driver Rear Ends Parked Car, BEECH CREEK, January 11, 2019 - At approximately 8:15 pm on January 10, 2019, an older model Ford F-150, driven by Jeremy Cretsinger, 41, of Doucette, was west-bound on US-190 East.  For some reason, Cretsinger left his lane of traffic to the right and was driving on the shoulder when he slammed into a black 2016 Nissan Altima that has been reportedly broke down and on the shoulder for several days.  The impact forced both vehicles into a ditch on the right side of the pavement. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Adam Norris with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Cretsinger was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Cretsinger was cited for failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.  His vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
