2 Hospitalized in Major Accident, SCENIC LOOP, October 2, 2010 - At approximately 12:50 pm on October 1, 2010, Gloria Saenz, 35, of Livingston, was west-bound on FM-3277 in a gray Chevy Suburban when a silver 2001 Ford Excursion driven by Aaron James, 21, of Livingston pulled out of a parking lot in front of Saenz. The two vehicles collided with a glancing blow. Saenz's vehicle came to rest in the east-bound lane of 3277, while James' vehicle came to rest on the shoulder. Americare Ambulance Services was dispatched to the scene along the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department and DPS Troopers Ramey Bass, David Flowers, and Darwon Evans. Saenz's two passengers (a 3 year old and a 14 year old) were treated at the scene and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by Ambulance. All traffic on 3277 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Aaron James was issued citations for failure to yield right-of-way from a private drive and no driver's license. Saenz was also cited for no driver's license. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered James' vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston while Saenz's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker Service and it will be stored at LakeView Storage in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 2 pm.

A 3 year old passenger from Saenz's vehicle was loaded onto an ambulance and taken to Livingston Memorial Hospital.
Both vehicles sustained moderate front end damage.
Aaron James' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
Gloria Saenz's vehicle was recovered by LakeView towing and will be stored at LakeView Storage in Livingston.
