Two cars collided at the intersection of North Washington and North Houston.
Driver Allegedly Runs Red Light and Broadsides Car, LIVINGSTON, October 1, 2015 - Shortly after 4 pm on September 30, 2015, a black 2006 Nissan Altima driven by Rose Gagliano Ellis, 59, of Livingston, was east-bound on North Houston. As Ellis drove through the intersection of North Washington, she was broadsided as she attempted to pass over North Washington. Ellis was slammed by a south-bound white 2003 Lincoln Town Car driven by Dedria White, 30, of Livingston. White allegedly sailed through the red light. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies Jacob Hopper and Cody Hardy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Officers Kaleb Barker and Tito Reyes with Livingston Police Department. Both Ellis and White were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Dedria White was cited for running the red light and no insurance. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered both vehicles and they'll be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
Dedria White's 2003 Lincoln Town Car also may be totaled.
Officer Kaleb Barker with Livingston PD is the accident investigator.
Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing.
