Name Released from this Morning's Fatal Auto / Pedestrian Accident, LIVINGSTON, September 29, 2023 - The name of the female that was struck and killed this morning has been released; Kimberly Dawn Fulbright, 44, of Coldspring was crossing US-190 West during the early morning hours while it was still very dark outside when she was struck by an oncoming west-bound vehicle. The following is a press release from the Livingston Police Department:
On September 29, 2023, at approximately 5:45 AM Officers with the Livingston Police Department responded to the 1600 block of W. Church St., in reference to person who had been struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival Officers located a white female, deceased, in the westbound lanes of W. Church St. The female was identified on scene as Kimberly Dawn Fulbright, 44, of Coldspring, TX. The preliminary investigation shows Fulbright was walking southbound across W. Church St. when she was struck by a vehicle, driven by Michael Wayne Willis, 63, of Livingston. Willis remained on scene after the accident occurred. Justice of the Peace Robert Johnson was called to the scene and filed an inquest. The incident is still under investigation by the Livingston Police Department.

Pedestrian Struck and Killed, LIVINGSTON, September 29, 2023 - At approximately 5:35 am on September 29, 2023, a person (female) attempted to cross US-190 West from the parking lot of Chevron (next to Taco Bell and Walmart) and was struck by an older model silver Ford Crown Victoria that was west-bound. The pedestrian was knocked around twenty feet from the point of impact and was killed on impact. Officer Jack Mueller with the Livingston Police Department was dispatched to investigate and was assisted by a number of other officers with LPD including detectives. Justice of the Peace, Robert "Dooley" Johnson filed an inquest at the scene. That's all the information that we have at this time.
