36 year old Truman Burchfield of Orange rolled his pickup while he was allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Driver Rolls Pickup, Arrested for DWI, EAST POLK COUNTY, September 29, 2013 - Shortly after 5 pm on September 29, 2013, a black Dodge 1500 pickup driven by Truman Mitchell Burchfield, 36, of Orange, was east-bound on FM-2500.  Burchfield's pickup left the pavement to the left and rolled coming to rest at the bottom of the embankment at the wood line.  Officer Eugene Harbin with the Alabama Coushatta Police Department was dispatched to the scene along with Officer Anita Carrera and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Driver Truman Mitchell appeared and smelled of intoxication (alcohol).  Officer Harbin conducted a field sobriety test on Burchfield and placed him under arrest for driving while intoxicated.  Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Burchfield's truck was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop.

Burchfield's pickup came to rest on the driver's side at the wood line off FM-2500.
Beer cans were scattered from Burchfield's pickup.
A rifle and a cross bow were pulled from Burchfield's pickup.
Burchfield's pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing.
Ken's Towing was assisted by Hoover (foreground) and Houdini.
