Corvette Strikes 18 Wheeler, GOODRICH, September 28, 2015 - At approximately 7:40 am on September 28, 2015, an 18 wheeler driven by Raymond Goodwin, 49, of Muncie, Indiana, had just pulled out of the Goodrich Truckstop and proceeded north-bound on US-59. Goodwin was slammed from behind by a 2014 Corvette Stingray driven by Crystal Lane Beazey, 33, of Cushing. Goodwin pulled into a parking lot as Beazey's vehicle came to rest on the pavement of 59. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Allen Stanton, Donny Akers and Chris Cain. Beazey was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons. Goodwin was physically okay. One lane of traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was blocked during recovery of Beazey's vehicle. Beazey's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Stanton.
The 18 Wheeler was driven by 49 year old Raymond Goodwin of Muncie, Indianna.
