23 year old Jeremiah Andrews of Livingston overshot the pavement at FM-3126 and FM-3277.
Driver Runs His Car Into Ditch, Arrested for DWI, SCENIC LOOP, September 27, 2014 - Shortly after 1 am on September 27, 2014, a green 2005 Ford Mustang, driven by Jeremiah Andrews, 23, of Livingston, was east-bound on FM-3277.  As Andrews came to the intersection of 3277 and 3126, he overshot the pavement of 3126 and went into a ditch knocking over a road sign in the process.  Andrews had just left the Whirlwind Club.  His car was stuck.  Deputy Billy Duke with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was on patrol and came upon the situation.  He found Andrews passed out in the driver's seat.  Andrews' girlfriend was a passenger and had left to get help.  Deputy Duke spoke with Andrews and became suspicious of intoxication.  Duke Summoned Troopers Ashley McBride and Donny Akers.  Trooper McBride conducted a field sobriety test on Andrews and placed him under arrest for driving while intoxicated.  His vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
