65 year old Patricia Helms, of Livingston, was driving this 2016 Dodge Caravan and lost control on FM-3126 (north of Putnam's Landing).
Driver Rolls Minivan, Hospitalized, LIVINGSTON, September 26, 2018 - At approximately 5:45 am on September 26, 2018, a red, 2016 Dodge Caravan, driven by Patricia Helms, 65, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-3126 (north of Putnam's Landing).  According to Helms, she was reaching for something and lost control.  Her minivan left the pavement to the left, struck a tree and turned over.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Terry Mayer with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Emergency personnel were able to get the minivan's back hatch open to free Helms.  Helms was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  No citations have been issued at this time.  Helms' vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
