47 year old Hugh Bradley of Livingston rolled his Ford F-150 pickup and was arrested for DWI.
Man Rolls Pickup, Arrested for Felony DWI, BEACON BAY, September 23, 2012 - Shortly after 9 pm on September 22, 2012, a tan Ford F-150 Driven by Hugh Wesley Bradley, Jr., 47, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-3126 near Beacon Bay. Witnesses had already called into the Sheriff's Office to report the vehicle which had allegedly ran other vehicles off the road and was being driven very erratically. Bradley's vehicle left the road to the left and rolled taking out a road sign in the process. Sergeant Christian Schanmier with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol. Bradley was physically okay. Trooper Cain suspected intoxication. Bradley admitted to having been drinking prior to the accident, and stated that he had also taken prescription sleeping pills and Tylenol. Trooper Cain administered a field sobriety test and placed Bradley under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Bradley has 2 prior convictions of DWI making this charge a felony if convicted. In accordance with law, being a felony charge, Cain drove Bradley to Livingston Memorial Hospital for a mandatory blood withdrawal before taking Bradley to the Polk County Sheriff's Office where Bradley was booked into jail. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Bradley's vehicle.
Bradley admitted to Trooper Chris Cain that he had been drinking and taking pills prior to the accident (also pictured is Sergeant Christian Schanmier at right).
Cain conducted a field sobriety test on Bradley and placed Bradley under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Bradley has two prior convictions of DWI making this DWI a felony charge.
Bradley's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing (Houdini with Ken's Towing pictured).
