Driver Rolls Pickup, BLANCHARD, September 17, 2024 - At approximately 3:15 pm on September 17, 2024, the driver of a gray 2004 Dodge Ram pickup was west-bound on FM-3126 (near Lake Livingston Village). According to the driver, he reached to the floor of his truck to get his cell phone and left the pavement to the right causing his pickup to roll. The truck came to rest upright in a drainage area. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant Roper Ellison with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Damon Zarate with the Texas Highway Patrol. The driver, Benjamin Moseley, 42, of Livingston, was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Moseley is likely facing a citation for the accident. His vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
