Teen Rolls Car, Alcohol Suspected, GOODRICH, September 17, 2021 - At approximately 9:55 pm on September 17, 2021, the driver of a white Ford Taurus was east-bound on FM-1988 West. The driver entered a curve too fast and left the pavement to the left, struck a culvert, and went airborne, landed, rolled and struck a tree. The car came to rest upright (a short distance from Loop 393). The driver, Jazzmin Galardi, 18, of Livingston, fled the scene on foot and was caught by an off-duty cop who just happened to be in the vicinity. She was returned to the scene. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Galardi was talking and made no sense and her language was incoherent. Galardi smellled of alcohol. She was checked by EMS personnel and transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. Her vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston. Pending toxicology reports, Garlardi may be facing a DWI.
18 year old Jazzmin Galardi, of Livingston rolled her car and attempted to flee the scene. Galardi smelled of alcohol.
Galardi was checked by EMS personnel and transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
