Victim's Name Released from Fatal Crash on 146, LIVINGSTON, September 21, 2021 - The name of the victim who was killed in a rollover accident off US-146 on September 17th has been released. Christopher Tillman Williams, 38, of Liberty, was killed when he was north-bound on US-146 in his 2002 Chevy pickup and left the pavement causing his vehicle to roll. This was a single vehicle accident.

Driver Killed in Rollover Accident, SCHWAB CITY, September 17, 2021 - Shortly before 4 pm on September 17, 2021, the driver of a tan 2002 Chevy pickup was north-bound on US-146 (about a half mile south of FM-2610), when the driver left the pavement to the right, over corrected left, then swerved right again, leaving the pavement and rolling his pickup. The pickup came to rest upright in the grass on the right side of 146. The driver (name being withheld pending notification of relatives) was killed during the rollover.  He was wearing his seatbelt.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the South Polk County Volunteer Fire Department, and Troopers Corporal Ramey Bass, Nick Hatton, and Sergeant Sam Lattner with the Texas Highway Patrol. It is not known why the driver left the pavement causing the rollover. Justice of the Peace, Darrell Longino, performed an inquest at the scene. A first-call car from Pace Funeral Home transported the victim from the scene. The pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop in Soda. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol. When we receive the victim's name, we'll be sure to update this story.

The male driver of this 2002 Chevy pickup was killed when he rolled his pickup off US-146 about a half mile south of FM-2610.
The pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing.
