33 year old Josh Blen Wright, of Livingston was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
Driver Hospitalized from Motorcycle Crash, WIGGINS VILLAGE 2, September 10, 2019 - At approximately 11:10 pm on September 9, 2019, a 1998 Honda three wheel motorcycle, driven by Josh Blen Wright, 33, of Livingston, was south-bound on Heckler's Road (off FM-2457).  Wright appeared to have entered a curve too fast and left the pavement to the right, jumped a culvert, went airborne over a driveway and crashed into some underbrush in the 467 block of Heckler's Road.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Garrett Childers with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Ashlee White with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Wright was not wearing a helmet.  He was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with possible broken ribs and other possible injuries.  His motorcycle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.  The accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
