Pedestrian Struck by Pickup, LIVINGSTON, September 6, 2018 - At approximately 7:30 am on September 6, 2018, Brandon Lewis, 19, of Livingston, was allegedly walking to work at Livingston HEB.  As Lewis was crossing the street on Willis (at Calhoun), he was struck by an older model white GMC small pickup, driven by Nicole Rene Jeffcoat, 32, of Splendora.  Jeffcoat was east-bound on Calhoun and made a right turn when she struck Lewis.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officer Jason Thomas and Sergeant Darrell Newman with Livingston Police Department.  Lewis was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Jeffcoat was cited for driving with an invalid driver's license and was placed under arrest when it was discovered that there was a warrant out for her arrest (allegedly a child support warrant).  Jeffcoat may be facing other charges.  Her vehicle was driven from the scene by a friend.
