1983 Suzuki allegedly owned by Russell Wayne Homeyer
Motorcycle Accident on 3277, Driver Flees Scene, SCENIC LOOP, September 6, 2008, - At approximately 7:30 pm on September 6, 2008, a gray 1983 Suzuki Motorcycle allegedly driven by Russell Wayne Homeyer, 24, of Livingston was east-bound on 3277 and lost control of his motorcycle and went off the road to the right and collided with a rail designed to protect a chain link fence.  The driver fled the scene.  DPS Trooper Kevin Burman was dispatched to the scene.  A search was conducted for Homeyer but he wasn't located.  It is common when a driver flees the scene of an accident that the driver is intoxicated and trying to avoid a DWI.  According to Burman, the driver of the motorcycle will be issued citations for no insurance, unsafe speed, fleeing the scene of an accident (and other citations may be pending).  A rollback wrecker from LakeView wrecker service towed the motorcycle and it will be held a LakeView Body Shop in Livingston.
