3 Vehicle Cluster Wreck, BLANCHARD, September 4, 2024 - At approximately 5:53 pm on September 4, 2024, the driver of an orange 2013 Jeep Wrangler was east-bound on FM-3126.  As he was passing the intersection of FM-3277 (Next to Lake Livingston Village), a west-bound red 1997 Ford F-150 pickup attempted to turn onto 3277 but failed to yield to the Jeep.  The vehicles collided and the Jeep bounced off the pickup and struck a black 2005 Nissan Altima that was sitting at the stop sign.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant Dakota Martinez with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Johnny Wilkerson with The Texas Highway Patrol.  Fortunately, nobody was injured.  The driver of the pickup was cited for failing to yield.  The Jeep was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston while the pickup and the Nissan were both recovered by Lakeview Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
