Corner Shell Accident Hospitalizes 1, LIVINGSTON, August 31, 2014 - Shortly before 12 noon on August 31, 2014, a silver 2011 Huyndai Elantra driven by Dinastie Wright, 26, of Onalaska, was east-bound on US-190 West. As Wright neared the intersection of 190 and 2457 (by the Corner Shell), a blue 2001 Mercury Cougar driven by Heather Cable, 22, of Point Blank, attempted to crossover from the west-bound lanes of 190 to FM-2457. Cable failed to yield to Wright. Wright swerved to avoid a collision, but the two vehicles still collided. Wright's vehicle left the pavement to the left and entered the grassy median. Cable's vehicle spun around and she pulled her vehicle off the road to the shoulder. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Trooper Barett Duren with the Texas Highway Patrol. Dinastie Wright was removed from her vehicle and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Heather Cable was physically okay. According to Trooper Duren, Heather Cable was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from an intersection. Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing. Wright's vehicle will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston while Cable's vehicle will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop in Livingston.

22 year old Heather Cable was cited by Trooper Barett Duren for failure to yield right-of-way from an intersection.
Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing.
