Driver Rolls Vehicle, GOODRICH, August 29, 2011 - At approximately 6:25 am on August 29, 2011, a white 2002 Ford F-150 driven by Gladys Hileman, 78, of Porter, was south-bound on US-59 in Goodrich. According to Hileman, an animal ran in front of her vehicle and she swerved to avoid it. Hileman lost control of her vehicle and left the right. Hileman's vehicle rolled and came to rest upright dense weeds on the right side of US-59 at the south end of Loop 393. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston and Goodrich Volunteer Fire Departments and Trooper Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Emergency personnel were able to remove Hileman from her vehicle. Hileman sustained a head injury and was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital. Her passenger, only sustained minor scratches. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Hileman was not issued a citation and she did have insurance. A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service recovered Hileman's vehicle and it will be stored at 101 Harwood Drive in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 7:50 am.
