Sleepy Driver Causes Accident, GOODRICH, August 23, 2017 - At approximately 3:50 pm on August 23, 2017, a black 2014 Ford Focus, driven by Jeremy Frank Wood, 37, of Huntington, was north-bound on US-59 (Just north of the Trinity River Bridge). Wood lost control of his vehicle when he was clipped from behind by a black 2012 Ford F-150, driven by Jordan Jayr Cabrera Rojas, 17, of Livingston. Rojas was also north-bound behind Wood and fell asleep causing his vehicle to drift into Wood's vehicle. Woods' vehicle left the pavement to the right, continued down the highway embankment, and slammed backward into a tree. Rojas' pulled his vehicle to the shoulder. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Ashlee White, Nick Hatton, and Colton McQuilkin with the Texas Highway Patrol. Wood was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Rojas was cited for no driver's license. Wood's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Rojas' vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.

17 year old Jordan Jayr Cabrera Rojas, of Livingston, was driving this 2012 Ford F-150 when he allegedly fell asleep causing him to clip Woods' vehicle.
