Trooper Darwon Evans is the investigating officer.
Driver Rolls SUV in South Polk County, ACE, August 22, 2012 - Shortly before 10 pm on August 21, 2012, a black 2008 Ford Escape driven by Lindsey Phillips, 30, of Livingston, was east-bound on FM-2610.  As Phillips approached the end of 2610 (at US-146) she apparently failed to notice that she was running out of road and crossed over 146 into the grass, struck a dirt embankment, and rolled into the edge of the woodline nearly 100 feet off the road.  Phillips' vehicle came to rest on its driver's side.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatchted to the scene along with the South Polk County Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Phillips was treated at the scene and loaded onto an ambulance and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  According to Trooper Evans, Phillips was cited for unsafe speed and no driver's license.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Phillips' vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.  The scene was cleared shortly after 11 pm.
