17 year old Trenton Michael Greening, of Lufkin, wrecked his 2013 Ford F-350 when he swerved to avoid a deer off FM-943 in Dallardsville.
Twins Crash Truck Trying to Avoid Deer, Both Hospitalized, DALLARDSVILLE, August 20, 2015 - Shortly before 5 pm on August 20, 2015, a black 2013 Ford F-350 driven by Trenton Michael Greening, 17, of Lufkin, was east-bound on FM-943 near the Polk County Line.  According to Greening, a deer ran in front of his truck.  Greening swerved to avoid the deer and lost control.  His pickup left the pavement to the left.  The front end of the pickup caught the ground causing the truck to briefly stand up (sliding) on its front end and ripping front grill and bumper off of the truck.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Segno Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Cody Hardy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Chad Seamans with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Good Samaritans came to the scene of the wreck and helped Greening and his twin sister out of the wrecked truck.  The good people let them lay down in their vehicle until emergency personnel arrived.  Both Greening and his twin suffered injuries and were transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.  Traffic on 943 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  The pickup was pulled onto private property where it currently remains.

Trenton Greening and his twin sister both appeared to be in much pain.
Volunteer firemen from Segno assisted EMS personnel.
Both airbags deployed.
