21 year old Brianna Holmes rolled this 2006 Chevy Cobalt a short distance north of Livingston.
Rollover Accident Hospitalizes 1, LIVINGSTON, August 19, 2014 - At approximately 3:42 pm on August 19, 2014, a red 2006 Chevy  Cobalt driven by Brianna Holmes, 21, of Houston, was north-bound on US-59 about a mile north of the Livingston City Limits.  Holmes drove through a patch of water too fast and began to hydroplane.  She lost control of her vehicle as her vehicle left the pavement to the right and slid down the embankment.  The car rolled and slammed upside down into a tree at the woodline.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and Deputies Kenneth Fletcher and William Jerry with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Darwon Evans, Zach Linderman, and Sergeant Nita Bowen (all with the Texas Highway Patrol).  Holmes was removed from her vehicle and transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries and a possible broken leg.  One lane of traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was blocked during investigation and cleanup.  According to Trooper Evans, Brianna Holmes was cited for unsafe speed.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Holmes' vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
