30 year old Jorge Louis Vazquez-Ramirez, of Lufkin, will be charged with driving while intoxicated.
Driver Rolls Pickup, Facing DWI, GOODRICH, August 17, 2019 - At approximately 6:35 pm on August 17, 2019. a white 2006 Ford F-150, driven by Jorge Louis Vazquez-Ramirez, 30, of Lufkin, was south-bound on US-59. Ramirez's pickup suddenly cut left and entered the center median and rolled. The pickup came to rest upright in the grass (directly across from the Goodrich Truckstop). Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Adam Norris and Deputy Byron Dunaway with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Ramirez was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure. Ramirez was allegedly intoxicated and will be charged with driving while intoxicated. His pickup was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.

Ramirez was driving this 2006 Ford F-150 south on US-59, entered the center median and rolled his pickup.
Amazingly, Ramirez crawled from the wreckage with bumps and bruises. Ramirez was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure.
Skid marks on the pavement lead to where Ramirez left the pavement (and then rolled).
Ramirez's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker.
