60 year old Isidra Mondoza-Reyes, of Goodrich, was driving this 2009 Mazda Tribute and failed to yield on US-59 at the north end of Loop 393.
Accident Hospitalizes 3, 1 Flown to Conroe, GOODRICH, August 15, 2020 - At approximately 9:15 am on August 15, 2020, a red 2014 Toyota Highlander, driven by Priscilla Warren, 76, of Tyler, was south-bound on US-59 when a gray 2009 Mazda Tribute, driven by Isidra Mendoza-Reyes attempted to pull from the north-bound side, over the south-bound side to the north end of Loop 393. Mendoza-Reyes failed to yield and the vehicles collided. The impact spun Mendoza-Reyes' vehicle around facing the opposite direction of travel, while Warren's vehicle left the pavement to the right and continued for at least 100 feet into the grass. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Colton McQuilkin with the Texas Highway Patrol. Warren and her Husband, James, were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Mendoza-Reyes was flown by PHi Air Medical to Conroe Regional with serious injuries. Mendoza-Reyes was cited for failure to yield. Traffic on the south-bound side of 59 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Warren's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Mendoza-Reyes' vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
76 year old Pricsilla Warren, of Tyler was south-bound on 59 when Mendoza-Reyes pulled directly in front of Warren from the north-bound side of 59 to Loop 393.
Warren and her husband, James, were both transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Mendoza-Reyes was transported by ambulance to a nearby landing zone (Goodrich Baptist parking lot) where a PHi Air Medical Helicopter landed and transported her to Conroe Regional Hospital.
