Driver Rolls Vehicle Multiple Times, GOODRICH, August 14, 2025 - At approximately 9:06 am on August 14, 2025, the driver of a 2010 gray Dodge Charger was north-bound on US-59 (just south of the south end of Loop 393) when, apparently distracted, left the pavement to the left, the driver, Summer Leiane Moffett, 21, of Goodrich, over corrected right, and left the right side of the pavement, lost control and rolled multiple times. Moffett's vehicle came to rest upright in the weeds. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Livingston and Goodrich Fire Departments, and Troopers Cesar Davila and Corporal Ramey Bass with The Texas Highway Patrol. Moffett was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Moffett may be facing a citation for failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. Her vehicle was recovered by a family member.

EMS personnel and first responders tend to Moffett. Moffett was wearing her seatbelt.
Moffett was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
