63 year old Bobby Elliott of Warren lost his load of logs on FM-943 near the county line.
Logging Truck Rolls Near Big Sandy, BIG SANDY, August 14, 2013 - At approximately 3 pm on August 14, 2013, an 18 wheeler logging rig was east bound on FM-943 near the Polk County Line when, according to the driver, Bobby Elliott, 63,of Warren, he hit a dip in the pavement causing him to lose control.  His rig left the road to the right and turned over spilling it's load of logs.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Segno Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Elliott cut his elbow, but appeared to have no other injuries.  He refused medical treatment.  According to Trooper Evans, Elliott was cited for failure to maintain a single lane of traffic.  Elliott's tractor/trailer was recovered by a friend who had the right equipment to clean up the mess.
