38 year old Dewana Hartman, of Livingston, was driving this Saturn Sedan west-bound on FM-2457 when she was struck from behind and pushed into an east-bound vehicle.
3 Vehicle Accident, 1 Flown Out, BLANCHARD, August 12, 2020 - At approximately 9:25 am on August 12, 2020, a black, Saturn sedan, driven by Dewana Hartman, 38, of Livingston, was west-bound on FM-2457. Hartman had stopped to make a left turn onto Chris Brent Road when she was slammed from behind by a red Dodge Caravan driven by Gerald Beathard, 38, of Livingston. The impact pushed Hartman into the east-bound lane causing her to collide with a west-bound silver Cadillac L15, driven by Shaneika Wallace, 32, of Livingston. Hartman impacted the driver's side of Wallace's vehicle. Both Hartman's and Wallace's vehicles came to rest on the pavement while Beathard's vehicle came to rest in the grass on the westbound side of 2457. Deputy Terri Mayer was the first emergency responder on the scene and immediately radioed for two ambulances. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Ashlee White, John Allen, and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Hartman was transported by ambulance to a landing zone (on 2457 in front of Blanchard Baptist Church) and flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston. Beathard and Wallace were physically okay. All traffic on FM-2457 was blocked during investigation, flight operations, and cleanup. Beathard was cited for failure to control speed. Wallace's and Heartman's vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Beathard's vehicle was recovered by Don's Towing.
32 year old Shaneika Wallace, of Livingston, was driving this Cadillac L15 east-bound and was struck by Hartman.
Hartman sustained injuries and was removed from her vehicle by EMS personnel from Allegiance Ambulance Service.
38 year old Gerald Beathard, of Livingston was driving this Dodge Caravan. Beathard rear ended Hartman and pushed her into Wallace's vehicle.
Hartman was transported by ambulance to a nearby landing zone in front of Blanchard Baptist Church.

Hartman was flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Hartman's and Wallace's vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing.
