Houston Woman Hospitalized from Accident, LIVINGSTON, August 13, 2013 - At approximately 3:30 pm on August 12, 2013, Walker Bolton, 57, of Mora, Louisiana, was south-bound on Business 59 in Livingston near the intersection of FM-1988. Bolton suddenly had to take evasive action to avoid hitting a white GMC Yukon driven by Alma Delia Robicheoex, 58, of Houston. Both vehicles were south-bound on Business 59 (Bolton in the left lane and Robicheoex in the right lane) when Robicheoex suddenly cut Bolton off in apparent attempt to get onto the overpass that goes back north (located by Thomas Supply). Bolton's silver PT Cruiser still collided with Robicheoex's vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest at the intersection of 1988 and Business 59. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers Adam Williford, Sergeant Ronnie Bogany, Chad Lilley, and Kevin Blackburn (all with Livingston Police Department). Robicheoex was removed from her vehicle by EMS personnel and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Bolton got a bump on his head but was otherwise okay. Traffic on Business 59 South was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. According to investigating officer, Adam Williford, Robicheoex was cited for making an unsafe turn. Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Bounds Autoplex in Livingston.
