22 year old Ernesto Martinez, of Livingston, was driving this 2009 GMC Colorado and rolled it off US-146.
Driver Rolls Vehicle, Flown to Houston, LIVINGSTON, August 10, 2020 - At approximately 8:45 am on August 10, 2020, a tan 2009 GMC Colorado pickup, driven by Ernesto Martinez, 22, of Livingston, was south-bound on US-146. Martinez began driving on the right shoulder (south-bound side) and suddenly swerved hard left, across all four lanes of traffic and rolled his pickup onto private property in front of the subdivision of Davis Woods. Martinez's vehicle came to rest upright. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers from Livingston Police Department, including Sergeant Ronnie Bogany and Scott Paske. Martinez was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital where a medical helicopter landed and flew him to Houston. Traffic on 146 was not blocked for this accident. Martinez will be cited for no driver's license, no insurance, and unsafe speed. His vehicle is allegedly going to be recovered by friends/family.
Martinez's vehicle came to rest upright on private property in front of the subdivision of Davis Woods.
