Travis Braswell's 18 wheeler slid on its driver's side (see marks in pavement) down FM-942 East for about 50 yards.
Logging Truck Rolls on FM-942 East, SEVEN OAKS, August 6, 2012 - Shortly before 2 pm on August 6, 2012, an 18 wheeler logging truck driven by Travis Bennett Braswell, 38, of Onalaska, was east-bound on FM-942 East.  Braswell was about seven miles east of US-59 when he lost control of his rig trying to avoid a deer and rolled.  The truck slid for about 50 yards on it's driver's side before finally stopping in the east-bound lane.  Braswell's trailer was loaded with large pine logs that were strewn all over the road and west-bound shoulder of 942.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Donny Akers, Darwon Evans and Chris Cain.  Braswell was transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan was summoned to clean up the mess.  No citations were issued.

Special thank you:  Ken with Ken's Towing

The road was completely blocked.
Trooper Darwon Evans assisted in the investigation.
