Harley Davidson Motorcycle Crashes, Burns, Driver Life Flighted, LIVINGSTON, August 6, 2009 - At approximately 12:52 am on August 6, 2009 a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Jerald Lebrun, 60, traveling with a Hawaii Driver's License, was north-bound on FM-3277 in the Scenic Loop area when his motorcycle left the road to the left, crashed and caught fire. A passer by spotted Lebrun in the burning wreckage and pulled him away from the fire. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Rob Thomas, and DPS Trooper Brent Murray. Lebrun was loaded into a waiting ambulance driven to FM-2457 near Blanchard Baptist Church where Life Flight picked him up and transported him to Hermann Hospital in Houston with unspecified injuries. At time of press, insurance for Lebrun is not confirmed and he could face citations for no insurance and unsafe speed. A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service recovered Lebrun's totaled motorcycle and it will be stored at Harwood in Livingston. The scene was cleared shortly after 2 am.
