DPS Trooper Chris Stanbery investigates his second rollover of the day.
Driver Rolls Minivan on FM-1988 East, LIVINGSTON, August 5, 2009 - At approximately 6:55 pm on August 8, 2009, a white 2005 Chevy Equinox driven by Elia Lara, 25, of Livingston was west-bound on FM-1988 East near the Country Sunrise subdivision when her vehicle left the road to the left.  Lara over corrected to the right and rolled multiple times.  Lara's vehicle came to rest on the right side of the road, in the weeds, and facing east.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with DPS Trooper Chris Stanbery.  Lara had 2 passengers, 2 small children (one an infant).  Both children were strapped into their car seats which protected them.  Lara and her two children were transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital via Americare with unspecified injuries.  Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Lara will receive citations for: no insurance, driving with invalid license, and unsafe speed.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Lara's vehicle and it will be stored at Harwood Wrecker Service in Livingston.  The scene was cleared shortly before 8 pm.

A special thank you to Ken from Ken's Towing.
