A passenger was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Driver Slams Into Tree, 4 Hospitalized, MOSCOW, August 4, 2015 - At approximately 3:40 pm on August 4, 2015, a silver 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Kimerlee Mae Smikal, 24, of Livingston, was east-bound on FM-62 when according to Smikal, she had to cough, when she coughed she lost control of her pickup and left the pavement to the right.  Her vehicle slammed sideways into a tree, then turned over on its side and somehow got wedged between two trees.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Smikal and 2 of her passengers were transported by private vehicle to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  One passenger was transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial.  Traffic on 62 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  No citations were issued.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Smikal's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

Smikal's vehicle was turned upright and recovered by Ken's Towing.
Houdini assisted with vehicle recovery.
