Motorcycle Accident on 3277, BLANCHARD, July 27, 2008 - A motor cyclist lost control of his bike and wrecked on 3277. At 2:12 pm on July 27, 2008, a 2001 black Harley Davidson being driven by David J. Michael, 51, of Livingston was south-bound on 3277 and allegedly lost control of his bike when his bike came in contact with loose gravel on a curve. Michael's bike skidded off the pavement to the right and came to a rest to the right of the road. DPS Trooper Samuel Lattner was dispatched to the scene of the accident and an ambulance from Americare Ambulance Service. Michael was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Traffic on 3277 was not blocked while the accident was being investigated and cleared. Michael had insurance but will be issued a citation for failure to maintain his lane of traffic. Michael's motorcycle was towed away from the scene by a friend with a trailer.
