Roll Over Accident by Hansen's Hardware, ONALASKA, July 26, 2008 - A single vehicle roll over accident occurred on 356 by Hansen's Hardware. At 10:50 am on July 26, 2008, a black 2001 Ford Taurus driven by Teresa Faye Antley, 44, of Trinity was north-bound on 356 when she lost control of her vehicle and went off the road to the left, struck a culvert, went airborne, came down on another culvert and her vehicle rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its side against some bushes. Onalaska Police Officer Ashley Brame was the first emergency responder on the scene. Antley was trapped inside the vehicle. Onalaska Fire Chief Roy Newport and the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Department was able to cut Antley from the vehicle utilizing the jaws of life, freeing her where EMS personnel from Americare waited to treat her, and then transport her to Livingston Memorial Hospital with upper body injuries. Both driver's side and passenger's side airbags deployed and Antley did have her seatbelt fastened. DPS Trooper Darwon Evans was dispatched to the scene. Also at the scene was Polk County Sheriff Deputy Glen Edwards. The north-bound lane of traffic was blocked as the accident was being cleared. Antley will be issued citations for failure to maintain her lane of traffic and no insurance. A rollback wrecker from George White & Sons towed Antley's vehicle from the scene. Antley's vehicle is being stored and White & Sons Body Shop in Onalaska. The scene was cleared out in about an hour.
