Logging Turns Over, Driver Hospitalized, CAMDEN, July 24, 2017 - At approximately 1:50 pm on July 24, 2017, an 18 wheeler logging truck, driven by Russell  Morgan, 36, of Jasper, was west-bound on FM-62 and entered a curve too fast.  Morgan's load shifted and caused his rig to turn over off FM-62 and Mealy Road (right side of the pavement).  Morgan was injured.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Ronald Bogany with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Nick Hatton and Colton McQuilkin with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Morgan was treated by EMS personnel at the scene and transported to CHI Lufkin Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Traffic on FM-62 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Morgan was cited for unsafe speed.  A heavy duty wrecker from Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan was summoned to clean up the mess.
