Local Youths Roll Pickup Over Guard Rail, LIVINGSTON, July 21, 2014 - At approximately 7:20 pm on July 21, 2014, a black Ford F-150 driven by a local minor was south-bound on FM-350 North a short distance north of Horace Bonds Road.  The driver stated that he fell asleep when his pickup veered to the right and struck the guard rail.  His pickup then rolled over the guard rail into the grass where it came to rest upright at the edge of the woodline.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Lee Rogers and Deputy Cody Hardy (both with the Polk County Sheriff's Office) and Trooper Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol.  The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons.  The passenger (also a local minor), was physically okay.  The driver was cited for no driver's license.  The pickup was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service and will be stored in Goodrich.
