Driver Crashes Through Fence and Rolls Truck, Alcohol Suspected, GOODRICH, July 17, 2010 - At approximately 6:35 pm on July 17, 2010, a white 2006 Dodge Ram driven by David Edward Kilgore, 56, of Goodrich, was west-bound on Windham Ranch Road when his truck left the road to the left crashed through a large portion of white wooden fencing at Economy Housing, went through a drainage ditch and rolled. Kilgore's truck crossed over the north-bound lanes of US-59 and came to rest on the driver's side facing north. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Billy Duke, and DPS Troopers Donny Akers and Ramey Bass. Kilgore was removed from his vehicle and loaded onto an ambulance and driven to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. One lane of traffic on the north-bound side of 59 was blocked as the accident was being investigated and cleared. Kilgore did have insurance and was cited for unsafe speed. There was a smell of alcohol coming from Kilgore and pending toxicology reports, Kilgore could be charged with driving while intoxicated. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Kilgore's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The scene was cleared shortly before 8 pm.
