Two vehicles collided at the intersection of FM-350 South and FM-3126 partially blocking the intersection.
Young Driver Fails to Yield, Livingston Man Hospitalized, LIVINGSTON, July 14, 2012 - At approximately 12:45 pm on July 14, 2012, a blue 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva driven by Stephanie Kay Jones, 21, of Moscow, was at the intersection of FM-3126 and FM-350 South (near the Polunski prison unit). Jones attempted a left turn onto 350 but failed to yield to an oncoming south-bound maroon 1994 Chevy truck driven by John Daniel Foy, 68, of Livingston. The two vehicles' front ends collided with a glancing blow. Both vehicles came to rest at the intersection. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Jason Paske, Corporal Terry White, and Deputy Dustin Lowery. Additionally, Trooper Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol was dispatched to investigate. John Foy was treated at the scene by EMS personnel from Americare and transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. According to Trooper Evans, Jones was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop intersection. A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service recovered Jones' vehicle and it will be stored at 101 Harwood Drive in Livingston.
