21 Year Old Wrecks Truck, Hospitalized, Alcohol Suspected, SEGNO, July 13, 2010 - At approximately midnight on July 13, 2010, a silver 2004 Ford F-150 driven by Samuel Moore, 21, of Livingston was east-bound on FM-943 when his vehicle left the road to the left, struck several small trees and came to rest in the grass facing east. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Segno Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies Lee Rogers and David Ramsey and DPS Trooper Ramey Bass. EMS personnel removed Moore from his vehicle and treated him at the scene, loaded him onto an ambulance, and transported him to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. There was a strong smell of alcohol and alcohol is suspected as being a factor. 1 lane of traffic was blocked as the accident was being investigated and cleared. Moore did have insurance. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Moore's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. No citations have been issued as of yet pending an investigation. Moore could be charged with driving while intoxicated pending toxicology reports. The scene was cleared by 1:30 am.
