Officer Ashley Brame (front) investigated the accident.
Rollover Accident on Business 59, LIVINGSTON, July 10, 2009 - Shortly before 10 pm on July 9, 2009, an older model Ford F-150 pickup driven by Holly Richards, 22, of Livingston was south-bound on Business 59.  As Richards drove over the south-end overpass, another white truck driven by a man identified as Mr. Tolbert was attempted to merge from US-59 using the bypass entrance ramp.  The driver continued left towards Richards' lane and nearly struck Richards' truck.  Richards took evasive action and veered left to avoid a collision.  Richards was braking at the same time and began to slide into the grass on the left of the road.  Richards' truck did roll and come to rest upside down facing north in the grass.  Tolbert continued driving around and came back to Richards' truck.  Livingston Police Officers Ashley Brame and Scott Paske were dispatched to the scene along with an ambulance from Americare.  Richards was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.  Both parties had insurance.  A roll back wrecker from LakeView Wrecker recovered the flipped truck and it will be stored at Richards Auto Electric in Livingston.

Amazingly, Richards escaped with minor injuries.
