Trooper Ramey Bass conducts a field sobriety test on 18 yr. old Allie Haines of Onalaska.

18 Year Old Rolls Jeep, Cited for Possession of Alcohol, LIVINGSTON, July 6, 2011 - At approximately 7:05 am on July 6, 2011, a white 2007 Jeep Compass driven by Allie Jean Haines, 18, of Onalaska, was north-bound on FM-350 North when her vehicle left the road to the right.  The vehicle rolled down into a front yard at Hubert St. and rolled onto its side.  Haines' vehicle came to rest on its side facing south.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Ramey Bass and Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol, and Deputy Mark Dubose with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Allie Haines managed to crawl out of the wreckage and was treated by personnel from Americare at the scene before being released.  Trooper Bass detected alcohol and performed a field sobriety test on Haines.  Haines did well enough to keep herself from being placed under arrest for DWI, however, Trooper Bass found 3 open cans of Bud Light spilled all over the vehicle from the rollover.  According to Trooper Bass, Haines was cited for minor in possession of alcohol and failure to drive in a single lane.  A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Body Shop recovered Haines' vehicle and it will be stored in Goodrich.  The scene was cleared by 8:20 am.

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing
