Officer Anthony Yaw investigates the wrecked truck
Middle-of-the-Night Roll Over Accident in Onalaska, ONALASKA, July 4, 2008 - At approximately 2:28 am on, July 4, 2008, an older model maroon colored Chevrolet pickup driven by Lance Watts, 24, of Livingston was north-bound on FM-3459 when his truck left the road to the left and rolled over. Onalaska Police Officer Anthony Yaw was the first emergency personnel on the scene of the accident. Afterwards, Polk County Sheriff Deputy Jim Bowie arrived and Constable Precinct 2, Bill Cunningham. Watts sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital via Americare Ambulance Service. Traffic was not blocked while the accident was being cleared. It is not yet known if Watts had insurance. A rollback wrecker from Albritten Towing arrived to tow Watts' vehicle from the scene. The truck is being stored at Albritten body shop in Onalaska. The cause of the accident is under investigation and no citations have yet been issued for the accident. The accident was cleared out shortly after 3 am.
