Accident Hospitalizes 1, GOODRICH, July 3, 2025 - At approximately 7:40 am on July 3, 2025, a red 2014 Toyota RAV, driven by Darlene Bogany, 57, of Goodrich, was east-bound on Loop 393. As Bogany was passing On The Road (gas station), a gray 2007 Volkswagen Jetta pulled out of the parking lot directly in front of Bogany. The vehicles collided. The Volkswagen, driven by Annie Ivey, 22, of Coldspring, was spun around and knocked onto the grass, while the Toyota came to rest on the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Sean Barnes with The Texas Highway Patrol. Bogany was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Everyone else was physically okay. Traffic on 393 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Annie Ivey was facing citations for failure to yield, no driver's license, and no insurance. Bogany's vehicle was recovered by Smith Towing out of Livingston, while Ivey's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker out of Livingston.
