Emergency personnel tend to 21 year old Shasha Prentice of Livingston.
Accident Hospitalizes 1, SCENIC LOOP, June 28, 2015 - At approximately 8:25 pm on June 28, 2015, a silver 2003 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Shasha Prentice, 21, of Livingston, was west bound on Scenic Loop (FM-3277). For some reason, Prentice's vehicle left the pavement to the left (apparently she was distracted), struck a culvert and continued into a small field. Her vehicle grazed a utility pole before finally coming to rest. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Terry Valka with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Prentice was carefully removed from her vehicle and loaded into an ambulance, then transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on Scenic Loop was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. No citations were issued. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Prentice's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
