Startling Crash, No Injuries, GOODRICH, June 27, 2017 - At approximately 6:10 pm on June 26, 2017, a maroon 2001 full size Chevy Pickup, driven by 37 year old Jose Exly Molina, was south-bound on US-59 south of Goodrich. Molina was pulling a Toyota Tacoma with a small vehicle trailer. According to Molina, the transport trailer blew a tire. The blowout caused Molina to lose control. The pickup that he was driving left the pavement to the left and entered the median. The vehicle in tow rolled multiple times through the median and came to rest upright in the north-bound lanes of traffic while Molina slid out in the grass. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Javier Segura and Deputy Michael McDuffie with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Amazingly, nobody was injured. Molina was cited for no driver's license and no insurance. Both vehicles were recovered by LakeView Towing and will be stored in Livingston.
