Livingston Man Flown from Major Accident, ANGELINA COUNTY, June 26, 2020 - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a two vehicle crash this afternoon (06/25/20) on SH 103 at SH 7 involving a commercial motor vehicle. The preliminary crash investigation indicates at approximately 4:30 p.m., a 2014 Ford pickup was traveling west on SH 7 and turned left when unsafe across SH 103 in an attempt to enter a private drive and drove into the path 2014 Peterbilt truck tractor semi-trailer that was traveling west on SH 7. The driver of the Ford is identified as 33-year-old Benjamin Bauld from Livingston. Bauld was transported to UT Tyler Medical Center by medical helicopter for treatment. Two passengers with Bauld, a 10-year-old female and a 7-year-old male were transported to Woodland Height’s Hospital in Lufkin for treatment. The driver of the Peterbilt is identified as 31-year-old Jorge Vasquez from Krum, TX. Vasquez was not reportedly injured during the crash. No additional information is available at this time.
